Highly recommended PDS Windows. James adjusted some french doors for me that had been poorly fitted by another company. This isn't something the team offer as standard but I think James felt sorry for me! Within an hour, James had adjusted the doors so that they now open and close smoothly and are lockable. They were clear with dates and timings with regular updates to keep us informed. We contacted PDS Windows when looking for a new door. We designed it ourselves on their site then arranged a quote and for them to come and measure up. We can only say how friendly and efficient they have been. The door was installed yesterday, their fitters were again friendly and efficient. They have been thoroughly professional throughout. We had a great experience with PDS Windows. James and Tom were clear throughout with quoting, costing and talking through our options. It didn't feel salesy at all, which we had experienced elsewhere. We were communicated with before, during and after installation so we knew exactly what and when things were happening. Josh and Steve fitted 40 windows and doors in a week. Which was incredible. In addition to this they were tidy in removing and installing the windows, and cleaned up at the end of each day to a good level, which was great as we have two little kids. I work from home and they interrupted me as little as possible, minimising noise. They were great to chat with and appreciated the occasional coffee (it was a wet and cold week), despite being busy fitting. They were also kind enough to help out with a few unrelated niggles and took time to give advice. Very happy, made a real difference to the house, style and warmth. 100% would use PDS again, wouldn't even consider getting anyone else in. - 05/03/2024

This is the second time we've used PDS Windows.We initially had a new door fitted, then most recently a large bedroom bay window. On both occasions we've been very happy with the results. Our window fitters Steve and Tom were fantastic and worked extremely hard to avoid damaging our house render, something we'd had done a few years ago. We were so impressed with the results, you can't tell from the outside that a new window has been fitted at all, which was the goal. The window is a fantastic match to our other bay window and I have no idea how they managed to fit the surround and external windowsill with zero damage to the render. I'd highly recommend them and won't hesitate to return as a repeat customer or to refer them to friends/family. - 12/05/2022

They were careful to protect my stairs and carpets and clear up all the debris etc. The gift basket was greatly appreciated. I would suggest that if unexpected event(s) occur to delay completion of an order, that contact is maintained . This would ensure that the customer is aware of what the situation is, and that you haven't ceased trading. The purchase was smooth and what can i say about the fitting of the doors...far above my expectations. Steve & Devon were superb, you would not have known they had been it was that tidy when they left! Iwas really busy, but they checked with me before putting the standard brown sealant around the doors, as they clearly it would not go with my black and white theme!! We wanted a new front door so searched the “Which? Trusted Traders” website for the top rated windows & door companies in the Leeds area. We chose PDS Windows because their website was very user friendly, and the “design your door” feature enabled us to easily design the front door we wanted (a great feature, especially during the current times whilst the showroom is closed). We submitted the design (a Saturday) and received the quote the following Monday. (Another local firm had a similar “design your door” feature, but it took a week to receive a quote – which was only a one liner telling us the price!) Jo in the office answered the various questions we had on email, and when James came to measure up it was very useful to be able to actually look at the colour and glass swatches. Our old front door had a very high lip/step at the bottom, which was a bit of a “trip hazard”, and we agreed with James’ advice to go for a door with a very low lip as there are also stairs leading up to the front door. When the door was fitted, a month later, the fitters arrived on time, were very friendly, and finished in under 2 hours, having done an excellent & tidy job. They showed us exactly how the LockLock handle/locking system worked, and told us to get in touch if there were any teething problems. The little gift hamper they left us was a lovely touch. Overall we are very happy with the front door and service we received, and would highly recommend the company. - 28/08/2021

The initial visit provided full information on the process and product. The follow up survey identified a need for some additional safety work and was accurately costed. The guys then arrived on site on time to the agreed schedule, they were polite, professional and friendly. They worked hard and were really tidy. I recently purchased a front door and pantry window from PDS. They were really helpful, particularly Marcus in the office running through endless permutations for my front door! The initial installation went smoothly, although it was noticed that the patterned glass in the front door had been supplied from the manufacturer slightly crooked, and the team returned promptly to resolve this. They were courteous and did a thorough clear up job on both occasions. I found buying a door from this company to be a good experience. It’s easy to get a quote online and Marcus is happy to answer extra queries. Booking in a survey and then a fitting is easy. Door fitting is a relatively quick job so it was great to see such a quick change in a day. James and his mate were very professional and incredibly hard working, cleaning up after themselves, and listening to what we wanted. James has good ideas about phone wires etc. FIVE stars to them! The only niggle was that a conservatory meant they didn’t arrive at 8am as arranged, but again, Marcus was good with his communication and I believe that they did get to me as soon as they could. In the end it didn’t affect getting the job finishing that day as promised, just later than expected obviously. Unbelievable service!! I have used PDS windows on a few occasions now, one being for a customer of mine and one being a supply only on a Large Solidor my company fit. PDS sent an engineer all the way from Leeds (round trip of almost 300 miles) to fix a problem with our door, which was still under warranty. He was really friendly, and got it fixed and working perfectly in less than 10 minutes.
